Giving Tuesday

Dear Friend,

I wanted to take a minute to tell you about GivingTuesday and how you can get involved in a special cause. GivingTuesday will return on Tuesday, December 3! It’s one of the largest giving days of the year, and I will be fundraising for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to help cover the cost of caring for my new life.

I had a multivisceral transplant on March 29, 2024, and it has changed my life. I am able to eat again! On top of that I have a new outlook on like. One that allows me to do the things that I held for granted, until I couldn’t do them due to the changes that caused me to become sick and need this transplant.

Thank you for everything you have done for me and know that without the donations that you made, I would not have been able to afford the life-saving care I have received in the months following my transplant. 

After being released from the hospital in April and allowed to return home to Alabama in June, I have continued to have follow-up appointments with the team in Indianapolis every month since then. With your continued support it will remain possible to keep getting the care needed to live my new life.

Robert and I, and the furbabies, are all so grateful for what you have made possible in our lives, and we are humbled by your willingness to support our cause. On December 3, your donations to Help Hope Live, in my honor, will make a bigger impact than ever, as it will make it possible to meet any unpaid transplant related expenses.
